What ProofRail is not

Not a payment processor, bank, or law firm.
Does not promise chargeback outcomes.
Not a blockchain or cryptocurrency product.
Does not hold merchant customer funds.
Does not charge end buyers.
Does not invite real customer evidence storage until production storage controls are verified.

Why this company

Digital merchants already run checkout, delivery, access, and support tools. Those tools each hold facts. They rarely produce one chronological, source-labeled record a merchant can export when a dispute or review arrives.

ProofRail is being built as a payment-provider-independent layer beside those tools. The first connector is Stripe. The core record model is not Stripe-shaped: adapters sit at the edge so merchants are not locked to one processor's dispute UI or retention window.

We start with United States digital-product and online-service merchants. We do not process payments, hold funds, charge end buyers, or offer legal advice. We do not promise dispute outcomes - those are decided by providers, networks, and issuers.
